Architectural stabilized aluminum foam AlusionTM panels are produced by injecting air into molten aluminum, which contains a fine dispersion of ceramic particles. These particles stabilize the bubbles formed by the air, just as dry cocoa powder stabilizes the bubbles when added to milk.
Below is a selection of the options offered by AlusionTM panels and which can be applied in facade projects.
Due to its many appearances, AlusionTM panels offer endless possibilities for, for example, a facade, roof structure, ceiling or wall finish. The panels can be used semi-transparent to let daylight through or to let light shine from the inside to the outside. But the panels can also be used in a closed form. Thanks to the different mounting techniques, it is possible to attach AlusionTM panels to any background. Whether it concerns transformation or new construction, AlusionTM is the product to achieve an excellent end result.
The location of a project, weather influences and the story of the designer determine the finish of the material. We can powder coat and anodize AlusionTM. In this way, panels are protected against corrosion, wear or chemical attack. And of course, the surface treatment also determines the final image of a facade.
Cladding with AlusionTM panels offers multiple options. We have an effective, cost-efficient, and sustainable solution for both existing and innovative applications that require a creative approach.
Substructure
In our projects, we hang the panels using one of our mounting systems. If no supporting sub-construction is available for this, we can provide it.
Acoustic interior parts
Acoustic interior parts are ideal for open spaces where good sound insulation is important. It contributes to a pleasant environment for the ultimate user of the space.
It is possible to apply our acoustic solutions to both walls and ceilings. We would of course be happy to inform you about the possibilities.
Lighting
Lighting enhances the perception of a facade, interior wall or ceiling. It emphasizes the lines in the design and accentuates applied perforation and images. Facade lighting can of course also be functional in addition to aesthetic. Regardless of the accent, facade lighting makes a building a landmark in its environment.
That requires a solid lighting plan. We perform a light calculation, in which the requirements are translated into, among other things, light temperature, color and illuminance. We take light reflection and energy efficiency into account. We make use of the latest lighting technologies.
Finally, we can also process the lighting in, for example, a mounting detail, for an aesthetic end result.
