AVT 3D MESH
3D Mesh

The unique AVT 3D Mesh material comes in a diversity of shapes and sizes, from very open for visual transparency to relatively closed to achieve the best shading functionality and privacy. Two mesh materials can also be combined as a double layer for an even more impressive visual effect.

AVT 3D Mesh stretch metal has this extra dimension in the ‘depth’ of the panel compared to standard expanded metal.

3 major advantages compared to standard stretch metal:

1. the AVT 3D Mesh sheet is more rigid compared to a ‘flat’, standard mesh.

2. with standard mesh, the transparency varies a lot depending on where you are standing in front of the facade of a building. From a certain angle, the facade might look quite closed, while at the same time from a different angle you can see everything behind the sheet through the openings.

With AVT 3D Mesh the level of visual transparency is much more the same from all directions.

3. AVT 3D Mesh types have a premium appearance and give the facade a unique and contemporary look.

Key features

Materials and finishes

The AVT 3D aluminium Mesh can be powder coated in any RAL colour. But the unique three-dimensional characteristics of the AVT 3D Mesh truly comes to life when the material is anodized. Anodization is an electrolytic process that turns the top layer of aluminium into a strong protective surface, resistant to all environments. A variety of colours and glosses are available for anodization, from silver to copper and gold.
